Welcome back, Renae!

Welcome back to my blog. I'm glad to be back. In the weeks since I've been on here, I've traveled to Tacoma and Norfolk, Virginia. Both were fun, but very different. Can't wait to share with you all of the exciting changes in our lives.



This is a new favorite place. No it's not in Leavenworth. It's in Tacoma. Hello, Cupcake! a cupcake bakery in the museum district, across from Union Station. It's a little gem. I was delighted to find it. You can read more about it in a review I wrote for TripAdvisor.
My sister-in-law and I stayed at the newly remodeled Hotel Murano. Formerly a Sheraton property, renovations were just being completed during our stay. Rather than being unpleasant, it was fun to watch the work being done. You can read my TripAdvisor review

The Museum District of Tacoma is an up and coming destination. If you're looking for a weekend getaway check it out.
